Refund Coverage: Customers may qualify for a refund of the vehicle purchase price, excluding non-refundable costs such as delivery, administrative, processing, or third-party service fees.
Contract Requirement: All purchases are contract-based. Any return must comply with the terms outlined in the signed agreement.
Refund Limit: Any approved refund will not exceed the original purchase price of the vehicle, excluding applicable non-refundable costs.
Eligible Buyers: This policy applies to private buyers and approved commercial customers purchasing through our platform.
Eligible Vehicles
To qualify for a return under this policy, the vehicle must meet the following conditions:
Condition Requirement: The vehicle must remain in the same condition as delivered, without new damage, misuse, or alterations.
Inspection Window: The return request must be made within the 10-day inspection period starting from the date of delivery.
Approved Vehicle Types: Passenger vehicles, SUVs, commercial vehicles, and other units listed on our platform.
As-Is Sales: Vehicles sold on an “as-is” basis may still qualify for return provided all conditions in this policy and contract are met.
Return Terms & Conditions
Return Period & Usage Limits
The 10-day inspection period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered. A return request may be declined if the vehicle has:
been used excessively beyond reasonable inspection purposes; or
been modified, altered, or damaged after delivery.
Requesting a Return
Customers must contact our team within 10 days of delivery to request a return. Each request is reviewed to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria and contract terms.
Transport & Inspection
Return Transport: Sale & Co Pty Ltd will coordinate return logistics where applicable, or provide instructions for return delivery.
Inspection: All returned vehicles will be inspected upon receipt to confirm condition and compliance with this policy.
Condition Adjustments: If additional damage, wear, or modifications are identified, applicable deductions or fees may be applied.
Refund Processing
Once the returned vehicle has been received and approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method, less any applicable fees or deductions.
Policy Exclusions
This policy may not apply to special-order vehicles, custom units, or transactions where specific exclusions are outlined in the contract.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. This policy does not override your statutory rights.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
